Testing out the Milwaukee String Trimmer
With the Milwaukee Trimmer being a part of the M18 system, I was able to use one of my older Milwaukee batteries during testing. Making all tools compatibility just makes it so much easier on the user and at the same time, eliminates cost, which I love.
I was happy to see that the trimmer came pre-loaded with string, that was an added plus. After taking about 5 minutes to load up the trimmer and get it ready. I was cutting in no time. Compared to other gas trimmers I've used in the past. This Milwaukee trimmer seems to be neck and neck with what's currently out there.
As soon as I pulled the trimmer, it was full throttle in one second. It definitely has some power behind it. It seemed as if It was a little less noisy as well, which is great being close to my neighbors houses.
This Milwaukee trimmer also feels well balanced with the battery in place. I could carry this thing for a while and not get tired of holding it. The handle also has good grip and can be accommodating for right and left handed people.

QUIK-LOK Attachment Capable
The fact that this tool comes with so many other attachments just makes this tool that much more worth it. With being in a small shop, I definetly don't have room for four or five different outdoor tools, but these attachments save space, and make the QUIK-LOK system way more appealing.
Easy Load Trimmer Head
Loading those trimmers can sometimes be frustrating, but the easy load trimmer head eliminates the frustration during the process.
Additional Attachments
With a single power head, Milwaukee gives you the ability to swap out attachments creating versatility and lower costs for the owner. Shop them all here.
The Edger attachment features an 8" blade and high strength guard for increased durability and includes mud flaps to prevent dirt kickback. It also features an adjustable wheel that allows you to to set an optimized blade depth and tool angle for greater control.
The Pole Saw attachment allows fast and smooth cuts with its 10"bar and chain and features an automatic oiler for chain lubrication.
If you need a little more length on your attachments, Milwaukee has also created an extension attachment to give users 3' of additional length. Milwaukee covered their bases with this attachment.
This Milwaukee Hedge Trimmer attachment allows for a 270 degree rotation of the blade set offering 13 positions and one position for storage. It features a 20" blade with a 1" cutting capacity and serves as the perfect tool for those house hedges.
